MAY MARATHON

Our goal for May Marathon was to develop a new, innovative fundraiser that would generate participation in a unique way and bring awareness to at least 10,000 people for Mental Health Awareness month. In the end, we surpassed this because of the help of these individuals and many more!

Not only did we reach more than 10,000 individuals, we signed up 18 active teams, acquired 39 new donors to the foundation generating a total of $2,601, donating $84 dollars a day from the marathon alone. In the end, our promotional video reached 13,600 people alone was a huge success for the first responder community and mental health awareness. Thank you to all the individuals for your joint support, countless hours/days/time towards this campaign. We cannot express enough into words how much your commitment to this marathon has done for the entire first responder and mental health community.

IFAA Honored Mental Health Awareness Month

A special thank you goes out to the team that made this possible: Amber Batchelor, Alyssa Phillips, and Suzannah Saldana. Video: Jake Schumacher & Mandy Huynh (Story & Pixel) Most especially, our sincere gratitude to AllTrails for your generous sponsorship & guidance during this walk, run, bike marathon making it so accessible and easy to track our first marathon. Given our limited ability to organize an in person event this year, we are looking forward to next year with face-to-face interaction! We can’t wait to see you next year in 2022 for an even brighter event. To learn more about the Iverson Foundation for Active Awareness check out our campaign.
